PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST-GRAND JUNCTION, CO
- State of Colorado Occupational Therapist license required.
- 2+ years pediatric experience required.
- Possess a degree in occupational therapy from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Possess current CPR certification.
- Sensory and neuro focus preferred.
Responsibilities: Primary duties include the evaluation and treatment of children birth-21 years of age. Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering pediatric occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to improve function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Requirements: 2+ years of experience working with children with disabilities with experience treating sensory integration, genetic disorders, neuromotor disorders, feeding disorders, dyspraxia, and/or premature infants. Individuals should have experience with family-centered interdisciplinary treatment approaches.
